Water is a critical component of our bodies’ functions. Water is essential for every body function. When Is It Safe for Babies to Drink Water?
Giving water to newborns before they are six months old, according to experts, is not a smart idea at all. From the time of birth until three months
It is not recommended to offer water to newborns. Between 4-6 months

No amount of water should ever be used to substitute for breast milk, and no amount of formula should ever be diluted with more water.

Approximately 5-7 months
Babies at this age are able to grasp and sip from a cup, and they are beginning to learn to feed themselves. Give your infant a sippy cup that does not have a valve so that he may suck from it more comfortably. Fill it completely with liquid so that your baby does not have to tilt his head forward when drinking. Choose a cup that can carry 4-6 ounces of liquid and fill it completely with liquid. A big cup filled with water may be too heavy for a little child to lift and hold.

In certain cases, using tap water for drinking purposes is recommended; however, boiling the water first is recommended. Make sure the water is at a nice rolling boil and that it remains there for at least one minute if this is the case.
