A first clock that makes telling the time a game. Twelve chunky wooden blocks, each a different shape and colour, slot into place around the penguin face, then come out again for shape sorting or threading onto the lace. Little hands turn the red and green hands to learn o'clock and half past, practising numbers, colours and fine motor skills as they go.
